Before placing an order it is imperative that measurements are checked and double checked as furniture that will not fit into its intended position CANNOT be returned to Millbrook furniture. If there is any doubt, then please contact us before you place your order.

Definitions
‘Millbrook Furniture’ or ‘millbrookfurniture.co.uk’ is the seller
‘Customer’ or ‘Buyer’ is the person/s or company that agree to purchase goods from Millbrook Furniture.
General
- Millbrook Furniture will not accept responsibility for furniture that does not fit into its intended position (see above). Please check your measurements very carefully and also note that all dimensions given are an approximation. If you have any doubt about the size of an item, please contact us before you place an order.
- We have displayed the colours and dimensions of our ranges as accurately as possible; however we cannot guarantee the true finish due to the quality of colour reproduction in the photographs. If colour match is an issue, then please contact us for advice before placing your order.
- Although any lead time given is in good faith and will be met wherever and whenever possible, Millbrook Furniture cannot be held responsible for late deliveries from their supplier or manufacturer.
- New wooden furniture supplied by different manufacturers may display differences in colour and finish. Much of this variation will disappear over a period of time due to the effect of air and daylight and so is not considered a fault or defect.
- All woods have their own natural characteristics that some may call blemishes or imperfections. However these natural features such as knots, grain pattern and colour variations and small cracks are the very things that make the furniture beautiful and individual and are not considered to be defects.
- Goods can only be held in our warehouse for a limited time with full balance payment. If held for longer than 3 weeks, a storage charge of £10 will be made for each week or part thereof.
Price
The price shown on the website is current at the date of the order of the goods. In the event of any increase in the cost to Millbrook Furniture, for example an increase in taxes or duties, notice shall be given to you the customer in writing. If such notice is given, then you have the right to cancel your order, this must be received by Millbrook Furniture, in writing, within 7 days of receipt of the notice regarding the increase. All prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT (17.5%).
Payment
A deposit of 30% is required for all orders over £150.00. All orders £149.99 or below must be paid for in full when the order is placed. Delivery of goods can only be made once payment for the balance of the order has been received by Millbrook Furniture. In the unlikely event that the supplier/manufacturer is unable to supply an order, a full refund of the deposit will be given.
Payment Method
Safe and secure payment is made by card using paypal (sorry, American Express and JCB cards cannot be accepted). Just follow the easy on screen instructions and links.
Security and Privacy
Your privacy and credit card security are very important to us. We will not pass any of your details to any other party and all information is treated confidentially. (In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act passed in law 11 Dec 03) ‘We do not send random marketing e-mails to personal email addresses (spam)’.
Delivery
Once the goods have been received by the warehouse, we will contact you to advise and also to arrange payment of any outstanding balance on the order. Once this has been collected, our couriers will contact you to make mutually convenient arrangements for the delivery of your goods.
Please note the following conditions:
- We are able to deliver to anywhere on Mainland UK. We can also offer deliveries to offshore UK addresses, although a surcharge will be made.
- Deliveries are free for all orders over £750.
- For orders £749.99 and under, charges depend on the item/s ordered. Please contact us for a quote. (See chart A below for a rough guide).
- Delivery will be made by two men and goods taken to the room of your choice.
- Some ranges and wardrobes arrive flat packed for home assembly. This is particularly useful if there is small or restricted access to your home e.g. small landings with sharp turns on staircases. Unfortunately, our assembly service is not available to all areas at this present time, so please check with us before placing your order if this is an issue. Any assembly carried out is an optional extra and will be charged for (see Chart B for details) so again, please contact us if you would like to take advantage of this service.
- If for any reason the arranged delivery is missed or you are not available at the agreed time, then you will be charged not only for the missed appointment but also for redelivery costs.

Damaged Items
All furniture (except flat-packed ranges) are inspected at our warehouse prior to delivery, so in the unlikely event of your furniture being damaged upon delivery, please take the following steps so that we can rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
- Please advise us as soon as possible of any damage or fault and supply details of the nature of the problem.
- We will ask for a photograph of the damage/problem so that we can inform our supplier and if necessary we will order a replacement.
You will be able to use the damaged piece until a replacement can be delivered. In this instance, we ask that the item is looked after as it cannot be exchanged if any further damage occurs.
Cancellation
Before delivery, orders can be cancelled at any time, but must be in writing or by e-mail. Full refunds will be given less any charges made by the card processing centres and Paypal.
After delivery, you have 7 days to cancel your order. Goods must be returned to us in good condition and if possible in the original packaging (this is in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000). The cost of the collection will be payable by you the customer. A full refund will be issued to the same card or method used when the balance was paid, less any charges made by the card processing centres and Paypal and less collection charges made by our courier.
Refund
For your security, all refunds are returned to the same account/credit card that was originally used at the time of your order.
